Captain Charles Anklam III, Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, Forward Operating Base Duluth, talks with Mr. Ronnie Yankey, a retired firefighter and a member of the Steak Team Mission. The STM is a nonprofit organization that traveled 7,000 miles to say thank you by grilling a delicious steak meal for the service members on the frontlines. “It is a great treat and much appreciated,” said Anklam. “It is good to be recognized by American citizens.”
