In the International Tactical Communication Course, Partner Nation students demonstrates how to properly set up an 11-meter, inverted V, and a L antenna during a recent training scenario at the John C. Stennis Space Center, September 4, 2019.
The students also set up a 3g Automated Link Establishment (ALE) by using Harris radios to communicate with other groups.
ITCC is an eight-week course of instruction designed to provide personnel with specialized unclassified training in tactical voice and data communications using the Harris RF5800 or RF7800 MP and HH radios. Course topics include human rights, single and multiple channel programing, frequency prediction, antenna selection and construction, data communications, citadel encryption, communications operations planning, basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the radio including ancillary equipment.
