Twenty years after his high school graduation, Sgt. 1st Class Joshua Moon, an Army reservist from Beech Grove, Tenn., graduated with an associate of science degree from Motlow State Community College. Deployed here in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Moon was able to complete his degree with help from the Army's tuition assistance program and the handful of education counselors currently deployed to Afghanistan to support soldiers' educational needs.
