DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (Sept. 13, 2019) – Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Juan Caceres has his chief petty officer (CPO) cover placed on his head by Chief Electronics Technician Mike Nielsen a CPO ceremony onboard U.S. Navy Support Facility (NSF) Diego Garcia in the Turner Club’s Island Room Sept. 13. Six Sailors were pinned to the rank of chief petty officer during the ceremony. NSF Diego Garcia provides logistic, service, recreational and administrative support to U.S. and Allied Forces forward deployed to the Indian Ocean and Arabian Gulf.
