(Sept. 13, 2019) Newly-pinned Chief Electronics Technician Nicholas Kincannon, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5, salutes the sideboys during a chief petty officer (CPO) pinning ceremony on board Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, California. The rank of CPO was established April 1, 1893 and is the highest enlisted ranks in the U.S. Navy.
