Names of 9/11 victims are placed on a board to honor their lives during a memorial stair climb Sept.11, 2019, in the air traffic control tower on Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. The names were placed on the board by participants of the climb, who completed 14 trips up the tower to equate the World Trade Center’s 110 stories. In total, nearly 3,000 people died as a result of the terrorist attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Elora J. Martinez)
