Two station residents, dressed as lady followers, walk in the final gala across the Kintai Bridge and through Kintai park April 29, 2012 as part of the Sankin-kotai, the daimyo's annual March through Edo. During the age of feudal Japan, each daimyo (Japanese feudal lord) was required by the Tokugawa Shogunate to reprt at least every other year in the capital city of Edo, now Tokyo.
