ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 16, 2019) Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd Class Haley Pope, Smithfield, Virginia, performs maintenance on an F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the "Gunslingers" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 105, in the hangar bay aboard the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Ike, with embarked Carrier Air Wing 3, is underway conducting the Tailored Ship's Training Availability (TSTA) and Final Evaluation Problem (FEP) as part of the basic phase of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan.
