Peshmerga Brig. Gen. Salah Salih Najat, commander of the Atrush Training Center, awards an Instructor patch to a new graduate of the Master Instructor Course during the graduation ceremony at Atrush Training Center, Aug. 29, 2019. The ceremony was one of four held at training centers across the Kurdistan region that day that graduated a total of 1,590 Peshmerga soldiers. Together, Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve and the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) will develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population, support a normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of Daesh.
