PANAMA CANAL (Sept. 10, 2019)
Sailors aboard the Cyclone-class coastal patrol ship USS Tornado (PC 14) wait for Panama Canal lineman to row over to Tornado to retrieve wire rope. The wire rope is then attached to the locomotive mule, which escorts the vessel through the canal. Tornado is currently underway in support of Campaign Martillo, a joint operation with the U.S. Coast Guard and partner nations, within the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations.
