VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Sept. 13, 2019) Chief Electrician’s Mate (Nuclear) Kevin Stambaugh, from Lake Odessa, Michigan, assigned to Pre-Commissioning Unit John F. Kennedy's (CVN 79) reactor department, is piped into the Chiefs Mess after being pinned to the rank of chief petty officer. Thirty-four Sailors from USS Gerald R.
