James Thomas from the 185th Air Refueling Wing shows students from West High School Sioux City Iowa freshman Geophysics Class a gas cap used on the U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker during their visit on Wednesday, September 12, 2019, to the base to see how the U.S. Air Force incorporates STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) into it everyday practices. The gas cap was designed and built by a 3D printer at the 185th Refueling Wing to save the U.S Air Force time and money.
