U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, civil engineering tech, Gary “Pogo” Campbell, reads the bottom of the Port of Palm Beach channel floor to ensure it is clear of debris and that its depths are deep enough for large cargo vessels to navigate to their destination.
The Corps works closely with our partners in the U.S. Coast Guard and various port authorities to provide survey support upon request and help ensure a quick return to regular port traffic.
