U.S. sailors aboard the guided missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94) attach a Hellfire rocket mount to an SH-60B Seahawk helicopter during routine maintenance to test the Seahawk?s ability to fire the rocket April 17, 2012, in the Red Sea. An electronic device is used to test the connections and communications between helicopter and launcher. Nitze deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility to conduct maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions for Operation Enduring Freedom.
