U.S. service members across Okinawa, Japan take part in the 2019 Suicide Awareness five-kilometer run Sept. 28 on Camp Foster to raise awareness and show support for those who have been affected by suicide. September is Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month and the Marine Corps Community Services Behavioral Health Branch Community Counseling Program have hosted a variety of events throughout the month to show support and raise awareness.
