The 2nd Chemical Battalion commander Lt. Col. Christopher J. Cox briefs an important aspect of the training to Brig. Gen. Leslie D. Smith, 20th Support Command, his brigade commander Col. Maria Zumwalt, 48th Chemical Brigade, and the incident commander, Bernie Tillson, U.S. Army North, May 10 at the Yakima fairgrounds. This is part of a large-scale training exercise on how to react to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosives attack, taking place at Yakima Training Center and other locations.
