    190928-N-HD110-1020
SOUTH CHINA SEA (Sept. 28, 2019) Ensign Tyris Wooten, from Palm Bay, Fla., uses an alidade aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) to determine the distance from the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11) before the ship conducts a replenishment-at-sea. Harpers Ferry is part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) team and is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to support regional stability, reassure partners and allies, and maintain a presence postured to respond to any crisis ranging from humanitarian assistance to contingency operations.
