The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District has awarded a $3.4 million contract to repair a severely degraded 111 year old section of the east pier located in Rochester, New York.
The contract was awarded to Dean Marine and Excavating, Inc., based in Mount Clemens, Michigan, on September 19, 2019. The contractor can begin work in June 2020 with completion expected in September 2020. The repair includes 600 feet of steel sheet pile and a new concrete cap.
