CELEBES SEA (Oct. 1, 2019) U.S. Marines Cpl. Maria Daume, a squad leader, and Cpl. Dustin Piatt, an armory custodian, both with 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 3rd Marine Division, demonstrate how to properly apply a tourniquet to the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) during tactical combat casualty care aboard the USS Green Bay (LPD 20) during Tiger Strike 2019. Tiger Strike 19 focuses on strengthening joint military interoperability and on increasing readiness by practicing for humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, amphibious and jungle warfare operations, all while fostering cultural exchanges between the MAF and the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps team.
