U.S. Navy Sailors with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Africa 20.1, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, disassemble a forward resuscitative surgical system at Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy, Oct. 1, 2019. The FRSS is a highly mobile unit that allows Sailors to establish an operating and emergency medical center while forward deployed. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is deployed to conduct crisis-response and theater-security operations in Africa and promote regional stability by conducting military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
