U.S. Army Staff Sgt. James Kampe, a section sergeant from Elizabethtown, Ky., assigned to Chaos Troop, 1st Squadron (Airborne), 40th Cavalry Regiment, conducts a security patrol in a wadi near the Shewak district as a herd of goats travel above them May 10. Chaos Troop, or “C” Troop is stationed at Combat Outpost Wilderness and is part of Task Force 4-25 Brigade deployed to support Operation Enduring Freedom.
