U.S. Staff Sgt. Eric Harshman, a platoon sergeant with 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 3rd Marine Division, conducts an amphibious assault with members of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) during exercise Tiger Strike 2019 at Blue Beach, Malaysia, on Oct. 2, 2019. Tiger Strike 19 focuses on strengthening joint military interoperability and on increasing readiness by practicing for humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, amphibious and jungle warfare operations, all while fostering cultural exchanges between the MAF and the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps team.
