BLUE BEACH, Malaysia (Oct. 3, 2019) U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. James McAnallen, a platoon sergeant with 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 3rd Marine Division, explains how Marines conduct an ambush to the members of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) during Tiger Strike 2019. Tiger Strike 19 focuses on strengthening joint military interoperability and on increasing readiness by practicing for humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, amphibious and jungle warfare operations, all while fostering cultural exchanges between the MAF and the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps team.
