PORTSMOUTH, Va. (Oct. 3, 2019) – Capt. Lisa Mulligan, Naval Medical Center Portsmouth’s (NMCP) commanding officer, promotes Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Tyler George to Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class during a promotion ceremony on Oct. 3. NMCP leadership promoted 44 Sailors through the Meritorious Advancement Program (MAP). NMCP, along with the outlying Branch Health Clinics (BHC), promoted 25 Sailors to 3rd class petty officer, 16 Sailors to 2nd class petty officers and three to 1st class petty officers.
