    PHILIPPINE SEA (Oct. 04, 2019) Cpl. Cali Belmont, from Chicago and Sgt. Guile Lang, from Flint Mich., guide an amphibious assault vehicle (AAV), assigned to the Marines from 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marines currently assigned to 3D Marine Division, into the well deck aboard the Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42). Germantown, part of Commander, Amphibious Squadron 11, is deployed to the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
