190930-A-DM672-1005 ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 30, 2019) Mineman 3rd Class Tyler Arnold, assigned to the mine countermeasures ship USS Devastator (MCM 6), lowers a Seafox unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) into the Arabian Gulf. Operation Neptune Scepter is a bilateral mine countermeasure exercise between the U.S. Navy and Royal Navy designed to increase tactical proficiency between mine-hunting units with focus on port re-entries, shipping lane safety, gunnery exercise and force protection.
