The ship's surgery team is pictured in the operating room aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). Vinson's surgical team has performed 148 general surgeries, including 36 urgent emergency procedures, and 180 oral surgeries for sailors assigned to Carl Vinson and Carrier Strike Group 1 since the ship deployed Nov. 30, 2011.
