Cpl. Matthew S. Edwards, a Crew Chief with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron-362 (HMH-362), mans a 50 caliber machine gun while he performs surveillance out the window of a CH-53D Sea Stallion during a general support mission. HMH-362 is deployed with Multi-National Forces-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop the Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
