191008-N-CL550-0541 EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 8, 2019) A rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB), assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69), approaches the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70). Lake Erie and Milius are underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
