U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Travis Jaakkola, with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, picks out a book to read to his children through the United Through Reading program, April 17, 2012, aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS New York in the Atlantic Ocean. United Through Reading is a nonprofit organization offering deployed parents the opportunity to be video-recorded while reading books to their children.
