U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Michael McPhail, a shooter/instructor with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's International Rifle Team, competes in the Men's Three-Position Rifle Qualification Relay on October 3 at the USA Shooting Smallbore Olympic Trials -Part 1 at Fort Benning, Georgia. McPhail, who hails from Darlington, Wisconsin, is a two-time Olympian and seeking a spot on Team USA one more time. After two days of Qualification Relays and a final, McPhail currently sits in fourth position for Team USA. Olympic Trials Part 2 will be held in March at Fort Benning, Georgia.
