U.S. Army Reserve Capt. Adriana Scott, a force protection officer with the 98th Training Division (Initial Entry Training), was promoted to the rank of major by Brig. Gen. Tony Wright, commanding general, during a ceremony at the U.S. Army Reserve Center at Fort Benning, Georgia on October 5, 2019. Scott has served in both the Army and Army Reserve for more than 17 years, which includes two deployments to Iraq. This Soldier migrated to the United States with her parent when she was three years old and was inspired to join the Army after the September 11th attacks because she felt the need to do her part and help protect the Country that had given her family so much.
