    GULF OF CADIZ (Oct. 11, 2019) The Spanish navy frigate ESPS Blas de Lezo (F 103) transits the Gulf of Cadiz during exercise Dynamic Mariner 2019 as seen from the U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyer USS Gridley (DDG 101). The NATO Maritime Command-led Dynamic Mariner/Flotex 19 (DYMR/FL19) is an exercise that test's NATO's Response Force Maritime Component and enhances the flexibility and interoperability amongst Allied nations. DYMR/FL19 involves ships, submarines, aircraft and personnel from fifteen Allied nations converging off the coast of Spain.
