SEA OF JAPAN (Oct. 9, 2019) A UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, assigned to the “Wild Cards” of the Army’s 2-2 Assault Helicopter Battalion, prepares to land on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) during deck landing qualification operations. Milius is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
