New York Army National UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters provide a funeral flyover during honors for the funeral service of Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. Francis S. Currey at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in South Bethlehem, N.Y., October 12, 2019. Currey, 94, from Selkirk, N.Y., died October 8. He received the Medal of Honor for valor displayed as an infantryman during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. The two aircraft, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment, supported members of the New York Military Forces Honor Guard providing military honors for the funeral service.
