A Soldier from the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, signals for the driver of a high mobility multi-wheeled vehicle to stop driving, as they are positioned for shipment from the Port of Vlissingen, Netherlands, Oct. 14, 2019, in support of 2nd ABCT’s nine-month rotation in support of Atlantic Resolve. 2nd ABCT deployed approximately 3,500 Soldiers, 85 tanks, 120 Bradley fighting vehicles, 15 Paladins, 500 tracked vehicles, 1200 wheeled vehicles and pieces of equipment and 300 trailers displaying evidence of U.S. Army Europe’s ability to facilitate the quick assembly of forces to deter aggression.
