Subic Fire Rescue medics inspect donated medical equipment from the Philippine and U.S. Marine Corps during a cooperative health engagement during KAMANDAG 3 in Subic, Zambales, Philippines, Oct. 15, 2019. Humanitarian and civic assistance activities enable our service members to develop personal relationships and provide support to local communities. KAMANDAG 3 is a Philippine-led, bilateral exercise with participation from Japan. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Manirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnership between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.
