PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 11, 2019) Sailors assigned to Underwater Construction Team Two (UCT 2) measuring PVC pipe for a free air space modification to a 40-pound crating charge on the back deck of the USNS Grasp (T-ARS 51) during Triggerfish 2019, a U.S. Third Fleet-led mission that employs expeditionary forces to conduct hydrographic surveys and clear hazards to navigation in the Federated States of Micronesia. UCT 2 ensures a free and open Indo-Pacific by providing waterfront and underwater engineering, construction, repair, and inspection in support of Navy and Marine Corps operations and is capable of performing complex inshore and deep ocean underwater construction tasks.
