With the ability to lift and move storage containers up to 5,700 pounds, the Rough Terrain Container Handler is the Department of Defense’s only deployable asset with such capability. The RTCH is a tremendous asset to Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Expeditionary, a strategic enabler for DLA that enables regional DLA commanders with a deployable, scalable and joint distribution capability that supports combatant commanders, operational and logistical requirements for unified land operations and contingency operations. DDXX also provides support for humanitarian aid and disaster relief efforts in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
