Soldiers, leaders and community members participate in the Purple Ribbon Relay and one-mile run or walk Oct. 17 during 13th ESC’s domestic violence awareness event. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) and thanks to the efforts of the 13th ESC Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention representatives and the Army Community Service’s Family Advocacy office, the event was organized to emphasize that domestic violence will not be tolerated in the Army.
