July 30, Iraqi soldiers of 3rd Battalion, 6th Brigade, 1st Iraqi army, and Iraqi policemen of Andaloosa Precinct District pass out bags of food to the townspeople. The Iraqi army, Iraqi police and U.S. Marines of II Marine Expeditionary Force, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiments (2/6), Echo Company are working together in Operation Alljah Swarm IV located in Andaloosa. 2/6 Echo Company is deployed with Multi National Forces-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
