Members of the Windward Community tour the air traffic control room during their tour of Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Kaneohe Bay, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), Oct. 18, 2019. Personnel from MCBH, MCAS Kaneohe Bay, the Kailua Neighborhood Board Sub-committee on Safety, and Hawaii Helicopter Association toured MCBH and MCAS Kaneohe Bay. The tour informed members of the Kailua and Kaneohe community on the basic role MCAS Kaneohe Bay air traffic control has with local area aircraft, and to showcase the proficiency and skill of the air traffic control Marines and their operations.
