191015-N-SS350-1053 GULF OF ADEN (Oct. 15, 2019) Aviation Machinist’s Mate 2nd Class William Waltersdorff, assigned to the “Grandmasters” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 46, torques a bolt on the tail rotor blades of an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Bainbridge (DDG 96). Bainbridge is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
