191020-N-HR587-1049 - A participant of the 43rd annual Yokosuka Mikoshi Parade swings a “matoi” – a symbol of Japanese traditional firefighters – during the event. They paraded from Tokyu Yokosuka-Chuo station through the blue street to Yokosuka base’s Purdy Fitness Center. This year’s parade attracted over 26,000 visitors. Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
