191016-N-PP451-1004 SANTA RITA, Guam (Oct. 16, 2019) Lt. j.g. Elizabeth Flanary, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, places her new rank on her uniform after she is promoted by Lt. Brent Natsuhara, assigned to Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Guam, during a promotion ceremony. Flanary is currently the officer-in-charge of NMCB-5’s Detail Guam. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
