    NAVAL SUPPORT FACILITY REDZIKOWO, Poland (Oct. 18, 2019) – The top leader of the Navy’s shore enterprise, Vice Adm. Mary Jackson, center left, commander of Navy Installations Command, visited Naval Support Facility (NSF) Redzikowo and the Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System (AAMDS) site in Poland, Fri., Oct. 18, 2019. Capt. Jon Grant (center right) along with Cmdr. Joshua Lewis (left), commanding officer of Aegis Ashore Poland, provided her and Capt. Jeffrey Kilian (right), commanding officer of NAVFAC Europe, Africa and Central, a tour of the facilities and discussed the timeline for completion, interagency partnerships and how Sailors like be stationed in Poland. The future housing and dining facilities are scheduled to be completed in late 2020, and will be home to approximately 200 Sailors who will work on the installation and at AAMDS. Once construction is completed, the Aegis Ashore site in Poland will expand a defensive capability that protects NATO European territories, populations and forces against ballistic missiles launched from outside the Euro-Atlantic region.
