U.S. Marine Col. William C. Bentley, commanding officer, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., visits with members of the Royal Marine Corps of Drums at The National Museum of the Marine Corps, Triangle Va., Oct. 22, 2019. Royal Marines used drums throughout history to give signals on the battlefield or in camp. The drummers and buglers of the corps are also fully trained in an additional military occupational field.
