    Lt. Forest Kemp and Capt. John M. Figuerres, the commanding officer of Afloat Training Group Middle Pacific, honor the men who died during the West Loch disaster. The Surface Navy Association, including sailors from ATG MIDPAC, the guided-missile cruiser USS Chosin (CG 65), the guided-missile destroyer USS Hopper (DDG 70) and the guided-missile frigate USS Crommelin (FFG 37), conducted a wreath-laying ceremony at the site of LST-480 in commemoration of the West Loch disaster of May 21, 1944.
