190929-N-MD802-2202 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 29, 2019) Air slugs fire from a Surface Vessel Torpedo Tube (SVTT) aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99), during scheduled maintenance, Sept. 29. Farragut, homeported in Mayport, Florida, is part of the East Coast Surface Action Group (SAG) and is operating in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility as part of a scheduled deployment and will conduct maritime security operations, improve interoperability and engagement with allies and partners, and demonstrate the combat power and flexibility of naval forces.
