U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, assault a simulated, hostile position during Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 1-20, at Range 400, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., Oct. 12, 2019. The purpose of ITX 1-20 is to create a challenging, realistic training environment that produces combat-ready forces capable of operating as an integrated Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) and to prepare units to participate in the MAGTF warfighting exercise.
